After researching many websites and other blogs for
"how to get the best tan results",
many pages of notes and I've come up with a list of
the best results I could find on the web just for you!
Skin must be smooth and clean.
Wax/Shave: If you need to wax or shave,
make sure you do this in advance of your tanning.
It is generally advised to wax 48 hours before you tan,
and shave 24 hours before.
Exfoliate: Exfoliating before tanning will polish your skin (all over)
and give you that bronze look you want.
Make sure you have nothing on your skin,
including deodorant, as this creates a barrier to the tan.
The 'white armpit' look is a sure giveaway that you've been faking it!
Hydrate you skin: Dry, thirsty skill will always lead to an uneven tan.
As far as self tanners go, I don't like them,
I believe that most of the self tanning products will make people look more orange than tan.
Convincing you guys and ladies to wear sun lotion may be a difficult task,
but here are a few ways to keep those UV rays away from your partner.
Buy them better shades: What you want to look for is 100 percent UVA and UVB protection label,
and it is also important to make sure the lenses are large enough to cover the skin between your eyes
and nose on both sides of the nose,
which is a common place for skin cancer to appear.
The Shadow Rule: If your shadow is shorter than you are,
the sun is at its strongest.
Your skin may burn within minutes.
If it's longer, you have more time to burn,
but you still need to apply sun lotion.
Hiding Sunscreen in Glove Compartment: Keep sunscreen in your glove compartment
of at least 15 SPF.
You can apply it while you are stuck in traffic or on the way to play sports.
Be sure you replace it once a month because sunscreen can degrade in hot places.
See you next time,
