Tips from Around the World

For the past year, I have been having a love affair with a book from the library called 'Passport to Beauty'. I honestly cannot give it enough praise! But, I thought I would take some of the information from it and pass along some hair care tips from around the world!
French Flouring: This is great for adding shine and taming frizz. Mix white flour, barley flour, apple cider vinegar and water together. Apply to your scalp and hair for half an hour and rinse out!

Romania: It's common for blonds in Russia to add a handful of daises to a pint of boiling water, let it cool and use it on their hair to bring out their color.

Ireland: Wanna talk no-poo? According to Passport to Beauty, women in Ireland skip the shampoo and opt for vinegar instead. It's not fun for the first week, but after that your hair is sleek, shiny and manageable.

Filipina: An aloe treatment once a week is the suggestion. Packed full of vitamin E and C, the plant really can do wonders for your hair.

China: For a final rinse mix rosemary with green tea and allow to cool, once you've washed and conditioned your hair, pour the mixture over your hair and you're ready to get out!

Africa: In the African horn regain, women praise (naturally made) butter for the moisture and nutrients for luscious hair.
