Winter Mask

Hello Ladies,

It feels like it's been a long time since I wrote a post, but not to worry, I've got your hair covered this week! How many of you absolutely hate your hair during the winter? Especially, those ladies who live above Tennessee know what I'm talking about. During the winter season, some ladies experience super dry hair as a result from the dry winter weather.
Above everything else, if you are trying to pull off an awesome new ensemble that you recently purchased specifically for the winter season and it's too cold...unfortunately, it's hard to look the part when you have to cover your hair to keep warm.

So, for those winter months...which for many states they have already entered their winter months...of sleet. Try this winter hair mask to help nourish your dry hair.
  • 1/2 Cup Mayo
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
Mix together until well combined and it is easily spreadable throughout your hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap and let it sit for 30 minutes. (Over time, you will get used to the smell.) After your time is up, simply shampoo and condition as usual and marvel at how freakishly soft your hair feels.

The Mayo helps infuse your hair with various fats and proteins it needs to stay strong and resist future breakages. Honey, on the other hand, helps to lock in moisture into your hair thanks to its humectant properties.

Note: If you apply this mask to your hair more than once a week, it could start to look a little greasy.

See you next time,

Happy Shopping!
