Hallo-Boo Week

Hello Beauties,

This week, or shall I say, the next two weeks is dedicated to Halloween!

Halloween is also known as All Hallows' Eve!

All Hallows' Eve is the time in the Liturgical year that is dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful department believers.

Many believe Halloween may have possible pagan roots - for example, Salem, Mass. is on my travel to-do-list.

You may choose to participate in one, multiple or even all the activities revolving around this holiday:
  • Trick-or-Treating (for candy or walking around with the kiddies while having a beer or two...)
  • Costume Parties
  • Decorating
  • Carving Pumpkins
  • Lighting Bonfires
  • Apple Bobbing
  • Visiting haunted attractions
  • Playing Pranks
  • Telling scary stories
  • Watching Horror Films

Halloween Food
  • Candy Apples
  • Candy Corn
  • Caramel Apples
  • Pumpkin
  • Pumpkin Bread
  • Pumpkin Pie

Games

  • Bobbing for Apples
  • Bloody Mary
  • Ghost Stories

Costumes/Makeup

Many costumes/makeup are traditionally designed after supernatural figures such as monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches and devils. But, overtime we've been modeling costumes/makeup after popular characters from fiction, celebs, ninjas and princesses.

  1. That creepy doll makeup is amazing! I think I will do a Halloween post as well maybe on some of the things I do here and some of the events I attend. It's always nice to let loose and enjoy the festivities, even the creepy ones.
